Student Guidelines for Dress Down Fridays

Towers High School Parents and Students,

It is important that we remind students of the dress code expectations on our Dress Down Fridays.  Please note that Dress Down Days are an earned privilege.  Students must meet certain dress code, attendance, and discipline standards before they will be allowed to have a Dress Down Friday.  Additionally, we want to ensure that students are wearing appropriate attire including the following guidelines:

  • No slides or flip flops
  • No rips or tears in the pants or jeans
  • Skirts must be an appropriate length down to the knee
  • No halter tops, tank tops, or short shirts that expose the midsection
  • No pants that hang off the waist and expose students' undergarments
  • No leggings or tights
  • No bonnets, bandanas, or scarves

We are asking for your assistance so that students can continue to have the opportunity to earn Dress Down Fridays.  If students cannot follow the dress code expectations, we will no longer be able to grant this privilege to them.
