Principal's Message
  Greetings Towers Family and Community!

It is with extreme honor and humility that I announce that I have been chosen to serve as the principal of the “Best Kept Secret” in the DeKalb County School District - Towers High School, Home of the Titans. As we begin this amazing journey together, I am committed to providing our school stability, putting students first, and serving all stakeholders. My ultimate vision is to elevate Towers High School to a school of high academic performance and a teaching and learning environment in which educators will want to come and provide quality instruction to our students. This vision will come to fruition with the help of our top supporters – parents, teachers, alumni, and the community at large. In other words, Towers High School will use this expression as our mantra to keep our eyes on the prize - Towers C.A.R.E.S. (Collaboration, Accountability, Relationships, and Engagement for Student Success).

However, our first order of business is to ensure that our staff and students are as safe as possible upon their return to school during this COVID-19 pandemic. We will follow all CDC guidelines and DCSD protocol to maintain highly cleaned and sanitized facilities and promote social distancing throughout the building and in all learning environments.

As a part of my Principal Entry Plan, I will host a virtual town hall meeting to address questions and concerns about our upcoming school year and discuss the overall state of Towers High School. The date for this town hall meeting will be determined in the near future. In order to ensure that your questions and concerns are addressed in this virtual town hall meeting, I am asking that you email your questions to Moreover, please click my Principal Entry Plan link to review how I will begin my service to our students, staff, and community.

Again, I am looking forward to an awesome school year – The Titan Way!

Mrs. Tiffany M. Sims

Principal with Purpose & Passion

Launchpad is Here

DeKalb County Schools introduces Launchpad, a student portal that provides access to the students' Office 365 accounts as well as a multitude of digital academic resources which are provided by the district.  With Launchpad, students are able to integrate technology in the classroom while maximizing instructional time.  Launchpad is a dynamic tool that changes resources as the needs of the students change.  It is easily accessible from any mobile device.

Student and Employee Social Media
The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is providing guidelines for students and employees on the use of social media inside and outside of the classroom.  While the DeKalb County Board of Education provides an official Internet Acceptable Use Policy, found at the eBoard website on, our guidelines offer a quick reference for safe, online etiquette.  Please see our guidelines online at:
